U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Revised Guide for Nuclear Power Plant Control Room Habitability

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has released Revision 2 to its Regulatory Guide 1.78, outlining a method for assessing the habitability of a nuclear power plant control room in the event of a hazardous chemical release, which can render the room uninhabitable.
