USPTO Delays Patent Fee Effective Date to January 17, 2024

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has delayed the effective date of a new patent fee until January 17, 2024, after initially scheduling it for June 30, 2023. The fee applies to patent applications not filed in the DOCX format, except for design, plant, or provisional applications.
