FCC Responds to Court Order, Updates Lifeline Program Rules

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has released a document responding to a court order to assess the impact of its 'Restoring Internet Freedom' order on public safety, pole attachments, and the Lifeline program. The FCC has also updated its rules to remove broadband internet from the Lifeline program's supported services while maintaining its authority to fund it.
