FDA Revokes Standard of Identity for French Dressing

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is revoking the standard of identity for French dressing, in response to a citizen petition from the Association for Dressings and Sauces (ADS), citing a need for greater flexibility in product manufacture and promoting consumer fairness.
