FDA Releases Final Guidance on Patient-Focused Drug Development

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released a final guidance document titled 'Patient-Focused Drug Development: Methods To Identify What Is Important to Patients' to help industry, FDA staff, and other stakeholders collect and submit patient information for medical product development and regulatory decision-making. This document finalizes a draft guidance issued on October 1, 2019.
