USDA Amends Guidelines for Biobased Products in Federal Procurement

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is updating its guidelines to expand the designation of biobased products for federal procurement, adding eight new sections and establishing minimum biobased content requirements for these items, as mandated by the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 and the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008.
