U.S. Forest Service Proposes Fuels Reduction Project in Oregon's Umatilla National Forest

The U.S. Forest Service proposes a fuels reduction project on approximately 4,400 acres in the Umatilla National Forest, Oregon, to protect local infrastructure and firefighter safety, as part of the Umatilla County Community Wildfire Protection Plan. The project will be implemented using the Healthy Forest Restoration Act of 2004 authorities.
