Sequoia National Forest Extends Public Comment Period for Giant Sequoia National Monument Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Comprehensive Management Plan

The Sequoia National Forest is extending the public comment period for the Giant Sequoia National Monument Draft Environmental Impact Statement and Comprehensive Management Plan, originally set for a 90-day period, due to requests for additional time, until December 3, 2010, allowing federal, state, tribal, and local governments, as well as other interested parties, to provide feedback via email, online portal, mail, or facsimile.
