USDA Reopens Comment Period for Avocado Importation from Ecuador

The US Department of Agriculture is reopening the comment period for a proposed rule allowing commercial avocado imports from continental Ecuador into the continental United States, following a new pest assessment and additional phytosanitary measures, and providing access to a revised risk assessment and management document.
