USDA Proposes Increase in Peanut Production Threshold and Reduction in National Peanut Board Membership

The National Peanut Board is seeking public comments on a proposal to raise the threshold for defining primary peanut-producing states from 10,000 tons to 20,000 tons of peanuts over a 3-year average, which would reduce the Board's membership from 13 to 12 members.
