Notice of Intent to Issue Forest Order Closing Areas Along the Wildland Urban Interface on the Eastern Side of the Huachuca Mountains to Recreational Shooting

The U.S. Forest Service, part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is providing advance notice of its intention to issue a forest order closing areas near canyon roads on the eastern side of the Huachuca Mountains in Arizona, near Sierra Vista, Fort Huachuca, and Hereford and Palominas, to recreational shooting, before the public comment period for the proposed closure begins. The Forest Service will then accept public comments on the proposed forest order after the advance notice period.
