USDA Proposes Decrease in Pecan Assessment Rate for 15 States

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has proposed a rule to lower the pecan assessment rate for pecans grown in 15 states, as recommended by the American Pecan Council, effective for the 2021-22 fiscal year and beyond.
