National Agricultural Statistics Service to Request Revision and Extension of Cold Storage Survey

The National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) plans to revise and extend the Cold Storage Survey, a data collection process for cold storage operators, due to changes in the target population and data collection plan, and to update the questionnaires to make them easier to complete. The survey will be conducted on a monthly basis, with most operations participating voluntarily, except for those storing certain manufactured dairy products required by law.
