Merchant Mariner Medical Advisory Committee to Discuss Medical Certification and Standards

The Merchant Mariner Medical Advisory Committee and its working groups will meet to discuss medical certification and standards for commercial vessel operators, and the committee's meetings will be open to the public. The committee will focus on medical examiner education and research, as well as guidelines for physical qualifications of operators.
