USDA Proposes Expansion of Biobased Products for Federal Procurement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to expand its biobased product designation guidelines to include 14 new categories of items, such as animal repellents and interior paints, which would be eligible for federal procurement preference, and also proposes minimum biobased content requirements for these items.
