EPA Proposes Partial Settlement Agreement in Endangered Species Act Lawsuit
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a partial settlement agreement with the Center for Biological Diversity and other plaintiffs in a lawsuit over alleged violations of the Endangered Species Act (ESA). The case, Center for Biological Diversity et al. v. United States Environmental Protection Agency et al., No. 3:11 cv 0293 (N.D.Ca.), was originally filed in 2011, alleging EPA's failure to initiate and reinitiate consultation with the Services regarding pesticide oversight.
