FEC Seeks Comments on Rulemaking Petition for Email List Reporting Requirements

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) is seeking public comments on a rulemaking petition that would require political committees to report the exchange of email lists, in addition to receipts and disbursements of mailing lists, as part of an equal-value exchange. The petition was submitted on June 28, 2019, and the FEC is now open to public input on the proposal.
