EPA Withdraws Proposed Determination for Pebble Mine Disposal Sites in Alaska

The US Environmental Protection Agency has withdrawn its proposed restriction on using certain Alaskan waters for disposing of mining waste from the Pebble deposit, a major copper and gold project in southwest Alaska.
