Oregon and Washington Tribes Seek Authorization to Remove Sea Lions from Columbia River

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, and several Native American tribes have submitted a request to the National Marine Fisheries Service to allow them to kill California sea lions and Steller sea lions in the Columbia River to protect threatened salmon and steelhead populations.
