Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone on Illinois River

The U.S. Coast Guard has created a temporary safety zone along the Illinois River, spanning from Mile Marker 162 to 166, to safeguard against potential hazards from electrical line installations, and prohibits entry without authorization from the Captain of the Port Sector Upper Mississippi River or a designated representative.
