EPA Proposes Approval of District of Columbia's Nitrogen Oxides State Implementation Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a state implementation plan revision submitted by the District of Columbia, which includes reasonably available control technology (RACT) requirements for nitrogen oxides (NOx) under the 2008 ozone national ambient air quality standard. The revision aims to strengthen regulations for combustion turbines and associated heat recovery steam generators and duct burners in the District of Columbia.
