Coast Guard Establishes Temporary Safety Zone for Bridge Construction in New York

The US Coast Guard is setting up a 500-foot radius safety zone around the Unionport (Bruckner Expressway) Bridge in the Bronx, NY, to protect personnel, vessels, and the environment from potential hazards during the replacement of the bridge, which will be carried out by construction vessels and machinery.
