FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 737 Aircraft Models
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Boeing 737 aircraft models, excluding certain older variants, requiring maintenance and inspection changes to prevent potential failure of the thrust reverser upper locking actuator. The move aims to address an unsafe condition identified through a report on the aircraft maintenance manual.
