EPA Deletes Partially Polluted Superfund Site in South Carolina

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 4 has removed certain contaminated soil and groundwater from the National Priorities List (NPL) for the Townsend Saw Chain Co. Superfund Site in Pontiac, South Carolina, but a small area of the site remains contaminated and will continue to be monitored.
