EPA Proposes No Revisions to Taconite Iron Ore Processing Standards, but Introduces Changes to Exemptions and Reporting Requirements

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed no revisions to the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Taconite Iron Ore Processing, but introduces changes to exemptions and reporting requirements, including the removal of startup, shutdown, and malfunction (SSM) exemptions and electronic reporting of performance test results and compliance reports.
