EPA to Review Waste Isolation Pilot Plant's Compliance with Radiation Protection Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking public comment on the U.S. Department of Energy's application to ensure the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant continues to meet the Agency's environmental radiation protection standards for radioactive waste disposal, as required by the 1992 WIPP Land Withdrawal Act.
