FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Fokker F28 Mark 0100 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Fokker Services B.V. F28 Mark 0100 airplanes, following reports of smoke in the flight deck and electrical power loss. The proposed AD requires replacement of specific contactors to address an unsafe condition on these aircraft, as outlined in a European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) AD.
