FMCSA Denies Exemption Applications from Three Individuals with ICDs

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has denied exemption applications from three individuals who received Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs) and sought to operate commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce despite having cardiovascular conditions that could lead to syncope or other health issues.
