SEC Proposes Exemptive Order for Municipal Advisors

The Securities and Exchange Commission is proposing to grant exemptive relief to registered municipal advisors, allowing them to engage in limited activities in direct municipal bond placements without registering as brokers under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
