FMCSA Requests Comments on Washington Meal and Rest Break Rules Preemption Petition

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is seeking public input on a petition by the Washington Trucking Associations, Inc. (WTA) to determine whether the State of Washington's Meal and Rest Break Rules (MRB rules) for commercial motor vehicle drivers are preempted by federal law.
