FMCSA Renews ACPA Exemption for Concrete Pump Drivers

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has renewed the American Concrete Pumping Association (ACPA) exemption from the 30-minute rest break requirement, allowing concrete pump operators to count on-duty time while attending equipment without performing other work-related activities. This exemption aims to achieve a level of safety equivalent to or greater than the standard HOS regulations.
