NMFS Prohibits Retention of Pacific Cod in Gulf of Alaska
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited vessels using trawl gear from retaining Pacific cod in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska, due to the 2019 total allowable catch limit being reached.
