FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A330-243 and A343 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus A330-243, -243F, -341, -342, and -343 airplanes, requiring replacement of the hydraulic pressure tube assembly or modification of both engines due to cracks that can develop on the ripple damper weld and reports of failure of the ripple damper.
