NMFS Requests Renewal of Exempted Fishing Permit for Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public comment on a renewal application for an exempted fishing permit (EFP) that would allow vessels in the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery to target pelagic rockfish species with more flexibility, while minimizing bycatch of prohibited species such as Chinook salmon.
