Fish and Wildlife Service Receives Permit Application for Incidental Habitat Impact in Highlands County, Florida

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has received an application from Palmetto Lake Placid-Lakes Blvd., LLC for an incidental take permit to construct in Highlands County, Florida, which may impact the habitats of the federally listed sand skink, blue-tailed mole skink, and Florida scrub-jay.
