HHS Rescinds Standard for Unique Health Plan Identifier and Entity Identifier

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has finalized a rule to rescind the use of the Standard Unique Health Plan Identifier (HPID) and the other Entity Identifier (OEID), as well as definitions for 'Controlling Health Plan' and 'Subhealth Plan'.
