Determination Pursuant to Section 102 of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, as Amended

The Acting Secretary of Homeland Security has determined that laws and regulations need to be waived to speed up the construction of barriers and roads near the US-Mexico border in Texas, allowing for the expeditious completion of projects in Starr, Hidalgo, and Cameron counties.
