EPA Proposes Approval of California Plans to Meet 2008 Ozone Standards in Imperial County
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve two state implementation plan revisions submitted by California to meet Clean Air Act requirements for the 2008 ozone national ambient air quality standards in Imperial County, California. The EPA aims to determine that Imperial County would have met the 2008 ozone standards by July 20, 2018, and no longer require reclassification due to emissions from outside the US.
