EPA Approves Illinois Air Plan Revision to Update NAAQS

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the Illinois State implementation plan (SIP), which incorporates changes to the state's air pollution control rules and addresses the EPA's revocation of certain National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) set in 1971 and 1978.
