FHWA Proposes Update to National Bridge Inspection Standards

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) proposes to update the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) to align with the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), incorporate new technologies, and address ambiguities since the last update in 2009. The proposed update also includes repealing two outdated regulations.
