The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has denied an application from HEPACO, LLC; Heritage Environmental Services, LLC; Lewis Environmental, Inc.; and Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC, for an exemption from hours-of-service regulations for drivers providing direct assistance in environmental emergencies, citing a lack of safety benefits.
