FAA Issues Revised Airworthiness Directive for Boeing 737 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has superseded Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2019-20-02, which applied to all Boeing 737-600, -700, -700C, -800, -900, and -900ER series airplanes, to expand the inspection area for cracking of frame fittings and failsafe straps and require more frequent repairs to address an unsafe condition.
