NMFS Establishes 2020 Atlantic Shark Fisheries Opening Date and Quotas

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) sets the opening date for Atlantic shark fisheries in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, while also establishing quotas for the 2020 fishing year based on 2019 harvest levels and large coastal shark retention limits for directed permit holders.
