FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing an airworthiness directive to address a safety concern with certain De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Model DHC-8-400 series airplanes, which were previously held by Bombardier, Inc. The directive requires the installation of an elbow restrictor and retains existing inspection requirements to prevent fatigue cracks in the main landing gear forward stabilizer brace.
