U.S. Department of Energy Approves 2018 International Energy Conservation Code for Energy Efficiency Improvements

The U.S. Department of Energy has determined that the updated 2018 International Energy Conservation Code will lead to significant energy savings in buildings, with estimated national site energy savings of 1.68 percent, national source energy savings of 1.91 percent, and national energy cost savings of approximately 1.97 percent of residential building energy consumption.
