NMFS Decreases Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishing Capacity Reduction Program Fee Rate

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a notice to reduce the fee rate for the Pacific Coast Groundfish fee-share fishery to 3.5 percent, in order to repay a $28.4 million loan used to finance the fishing capacity reduction program, which was originally valued at $35.7 million.
