DOT Announces Funding Opportunity for Short Line and Regional Railroads to Access RRIF Program

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Build America Bureau is seeking Letters of Interest from short line and regional railroads to participate in the Railroad Rehabilitation and Improvement Financing (RRIF) Express Pilot Program, a new initiative aimed at increasing access to the RRIF program and providing financial assistance to support the development of railroad infrastructure.
