VA Finalizes Rule for Reimbursement of Adoption Expenses for Certain Veterans

The Department of Veterans Affairs has adopted a final rule allowing reimbursement of qualifying adoption expenses for veterans with service-connected disabilities that prevent them from procreating without fertility treatment, using funds from the Medical Services account under the Continuing Appropriations and Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017, and Zika Response and Preparedness Act.
