FMCSA Requests Public Comment on Harris Companies' Exemption Application for ELD Rule

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has announced that Harris Companies, Inc. (Harris) has submitted a request for exemption from the electronic logging devices (ELDs) rule, which would exempt certain employees, including elevator technicians and electricians, from the rule's requirements. The FMCSA is seeking public comment on Harris' application, which is available for review on its website.
