FHWA Proposes Updates to Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Regulations

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is proposing changes to its Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 regulations, driven by the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), which expanded relocation benefits and reduced occupancy requirements, and aims to streamline processes and eliminate outdated language.
